Staff Day in Cambodia

"To be prepared is half the victory." - Miguel de Cervantes

In the fight against poverty, a united and prepared effort is essential.

Food for the Hungry Cambodia staff came together this past June 2013 for 4 days of training. The sessions were hosted inside Tumnup Tuck Church, giving staff the opportunity to examine their roles and responsibilities in the community as well as the organization's global vision and mission.

Led by country director, Mark Fender, the group of 20 FH staff, half male, half female explored the basics of Child Focused Community Transformation using skits, role plays and visual teaching aids. Time was allocated for dialogue and questions.

These new staff, thankful for the provincial approval to expand into the Svay Leur distric will soon apply what they have learned from the training sessions in their work.
