Out of 86,000 registered charities in Canada, Food for the Hungry made the Financial Post's Top 25 Charities of the Year!
The Financial Post set out to identify the top 25 Canadian charities that the public can trust with their money, and graded them based on "which ones are making the most efficient use of your money and also the most effective use at actually accomplishing the charitable goals that they're trying to accomplish."
The winning charities had to demonstrate that they were "accountable, transparent, efficient" with their use of money, and "show[ing] in plain language and hard numbers how those dollars are addressing the problems they're trying to fight".
