MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
It's natural for a new year to bring change and new beginnings and today I have a personal update I'd like to share with you. After 12 incredible years serving with Food for the Hungry (FH), I have decided that my time in the role of President is coming to a close.
Earlier this year, I formally asked our FH Canada board to form an executive search committee, with the goal of finding a new president by September 2014. I ask that you pray with us for the right successor to be found.
What a blessing it's been to personally invest into this transformational ministry! I've had the extraordinary privilege of seeing so many lives changed throughout my interactions with families across many nations and cultures. My fondest memories will be those of people with very little wealth or influence truly exemplifying the characteristics of Jesus in their daily lives.
Like most milestones, this transition will be bittersweet for me. However, I am confident that a leader will be found that upholds the values that make FH Canada distinct and significantly further the mission of ending poverty that you and I now hold so dear.
