Directly translated “the newspaper boy”, these bite-size, no-bake sweet rolls deliver a punch of sweet delight sure to make headlines!
INGREDIENTS:
2 ¼ cup caster sugar
3 ½ cup powdered milk
2 300ml cans sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp vanilla
cornstarch
cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS:
Whisk together dry ingredients, except the cornstarch. Mix in vanilla and sweetened condensed milk and beat on low speed with a dough hook.
Once well-mixed and beginning to stiffen, remove from beater. Dust a space with cornstarch to lightly knead the dough by hand. Take a fist-size portion and roll with your hands into canilittas.
To add extra flavour, sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cover and place in fridge to firm up.
Serve with coffee.
